 FIRST Summer Camps for children and youth with disabilities are only possible with support of volunteers, funders and the community which is very important to help keep the costs low.

Summer Enrichment Camp SEC-is a 9 week summer camp designed for youth 6yrs old-13yrs. with or without disabilities offered by Asheville Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Arts Department, Therapeutic Recreation. Summer Teen Fun Camp Sponsored by FIRST & Asheville Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Arts Department is an inclusive summer recreation camp designed for middle and high school aged teens with or without mild to moderate cognitive or developmental delays Location: West Asheville Center starting June 20. Summer Theatre Camp Co-sponsored with Asheville Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Arts Department, Therapeutic Recreation is 4 week theatre camp for youth, teens and adults with disabilities who want to experience acting and drama. Camp starts June 21 and ends with a final production on the stage of Asheville Community Theater on July 28. Download forms below to apply for the camp. Call our office (828) 277-1315.
